These visas are valid for 58 days from the date on which they’re issued. Once the period of 90 days is over, it may be extended for 30 days each twice after a payment of a fee of AED 850 each time.
Details of the Travel Record Criterion
Any applicant who has traveled to the below mentioned countries at least once in the last 5 years or have a valid visa for those countries or those who have traveled to the UAE in the last 5 years are eligible for a visa. The countries are-

- New Zealand

- Canada
- Switzerland

Those qualifying on the basis of travel record need to furnish-
- The filled and signed application form with a coloured photograph of the applicant
- The original passport for verification. Apart from that, a coloured photocopy of the first two and the last two pages and the observation page if any along with the travel documents
- The original confirmed return tickets along with photocopies
- An invitation company from any UAE company if any such invitation has been extended
- Along with their photo IDs, female applicants and students above 18 need to furnish an NOC from their husbands or parents. The host’s passport’s coloured copy and his/her residence visa is needed too
If it’s an official tour to attend a meeting/seminar or participate in any exhibition:
- A copy of the passenger’s passport
- Confirmed return tickets
- Hotel booking confirmation
- Covering letter from the company
- An invitation letter from the host company or the host resident permit along with a copy of the passport
If it’s a personal visit
- A copy of the passport
- Confirmed return tickets
- The passport copy of the host
- The host’s resident page
- A guarantee or covering letter from the host
- Proof of the relationship
If it’s for tourism or property acquisition
- A copy of the passport
- Confirmed return tickets
- Hotel booking confirmation or the tenancy contract for the property or the property papers
Apart from the above documents, a covering letter that mentions the reason for travel needs to be furnished. The details of the stay along with those of the host and a self-guarantee of exiting Dubai while the visa is still valid shall have to be provided too. Two local contact details with separate addresses shall have to be given along with their photo id cum address proofs.

The visa fee for the 90 days single entry Dubai visa is Rs. 14555/- and it includes service charge and applicable taxes.
